It begs to be read again and again, but more slowly...with reflection...with communion with the Lord...with deep conversation with my wife...with a responsibility to engage other men in their Journey to More! While it may have taken him eight years to write, it took Lee Stanford over 50 years to own this journey.
To me, JTM is more like a guide to connect with both the written Word of God and the living Word of God. Reading it was like combining deep spirituality and boots-on-the ground reality. It moves me from information to transformation. If the Great Confession is Jesus is Lord, and the Great Commission is to make disciples of all people groups, then the epicenter are the Two Great Commandmentsto love the Lord and love others from the inside out with all our heart soul and mind!
